Blues can be moody, but right now I'm feeling more of a crisp and refreshing, springy kind of blue!
I've decked my living room out in some of my recent paintings in honor of this very versatile hue.
Makes me so happy for spring!
I figured it was time to have a recent bio photo of myself (for my new website) so out came the tripod, the self-timer, and the cheesy camera face. Happy spring, everyone!
Looking good, Shelley!!
For years now I have been wondering whether I like blue or red best. I still don't know for sure but your wall of blue period paintings almost pushed me over the line....

And can I say that the blue whorl at the top of the right hand wall looks so...purposeful! headed that direction? With lines dripping down it was a totally different mood (sad.) Keep it rolling!
And with all of them together like that, I can finally pick my favorite one: It's the one on the left wall, top right. Yep. That's the one.
But I also like the feathery one on the right wall, middle right.

Thanks to both of you! Edith, I have the same trouble deciding between red and blue...I've come to the conclusion that red is my favorite in the fall/winter and blue is for spring/summer. Best of both worlds!

The blues are so serene! Beautiful job, as always!
