It's October, time for the black and orange!
The new color scheme gave me the impetus necessary to finish this coffee table, which had been sitting in our garage for 1.5 years. It was an old vintage piece that had lost some of the veneer on the edges, so I patched it up and painted it white. Lots of coats of white. :-)
The drapes consist of grey tapestry panels purchased at Lowes, cut in half, and sewn into sections of IKEA drapes. Since the Lowes drapes were more narrow than the IKEA ones, I had to trim and re-stitch the sides, but at least I didn't have to do the tabs on top.
Hazel got a kick out of this, of course. She's going to be Witch Hazel for Halloween.
My mercury glass globes look dashing in their 'staches, no?
You've seen all this other stuff from previous years, just rearranged. I'm so excited to have a big beautiful mantel to rearrange it on!
'Tis the year of the mustache for me.
Go kitty, go...you get that rubber rat.
I made new orange drapes for the dining, since there are 4 panels needed in this house. The black and white ones were used in our last house. They're shorter than they should be cuz this house has 9 ft ceilings, but I managed to work around it in the photos. And you never would have known if I hadn't told you, right?
Okay, now it's time to start on all the Halloween costumes and get the parties planned and organized! Can't wait to show you the costumes...but I'll have to wait because I haven't even started them yet. Which means you'll have to wait too. :-)
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Halloween decorations and the mantel piece looks wonderful!!
The teal with orange, black adn the white is so beautiful!! Plus you can NEVER go wrong with "staches....the witch Hazel bottle is great and I can see Hazel LOVING it!!
You are amazing and so very, very talented and creative..I love that you share your talents with all of us!!

So COOL! I REALLY love the way you do Halloween! I like the 'staches everywhere. Do the ones on the long mirror line up to the height of the kids so they can check themselves out with furry upper lips?

I love that you change your whole house's decor around for the holidays/seasons. I need you to come help me with my house some day. I love it all, especially the 'stashes!

You blow my mind. When do you take time to breathe? I love the mirror with the 'stashes. And the cat on the table is priceless. WOW! Where do you store all your goodies? I just love it. I've never been much on Halloween but I could really 'dig it' at your house! I can't wait to see Witch Hazel!
