Are you kidding me??? You just got your studio perfect and now you are moving again! Bless you.

Cindy

We are doing the same thing....although it's Florida we're probably headed to. Long drive from VA to Fl :) Good luck with your move!

You should never have set the studio up!!!!! Where in NC are you headed. I live in Clayton - love Clayton. Still want to move back to Virgina! I'm in the Raleigh area. Would love to see you move near here. Good luck house hunting!

Jen

Keep us posted. I am in Nc so I can't wait to see what you have to say.I hope it goes well.

Fran

Thanks everyone, for all your support! I have to admit I was very depressed about having to leave our house and all our friends here, but my grieving period is mostly over now and I'm mentally preparing to move on. Steve's job is just below the Va/NC border, so we won't actually be too far away...but definitely far enough to have to move to a different house. A 6 or 7 hour commute would be a little ridiculous. :-) I've actually heard lots of wonderful things about NC, I think it will be a great place for our family.

I am like you Miss Shelly moving is not in my top 100 things I like to do especially as the kids are getting older.

I have learned that the Lord never gives us more than we can hangle but some days :) Please let me know if there is anything we can do ot help and we will have to get together an enjoy the the time before you move and then of course we might have to visit you in North Carolina!!

Kimberly

I live in Charlotte. If you are coming to that area and are LDS look up the Mt. Island ward. It is great.

Hello!

  • In short, I'm a wife, mother, artist, and creator of all sorts of things. I've categorized my creative endeavors into seven main areas, hence the 7 Layers; Textile/Pattern design, Sewing, Photography, Interior/Landscape design, Painting/Drawing, Monotypes/Printmaking, and Baking/Cake Decorating. There. I think that's 7(ish). You're welcome to use any of my ideas for personal use, but please do not copy and sell the things/ideas you see here without my permission. Thanks, and enjoy!
