I've spent some time this week going through photos of the past year.
It's been fun to go back and be reminded of all the events in 2010. I'm working on a special photo board, and I converted some of my favorites to black and white for a more uniform and classic look.
From lost teeth to birthdays to a visit from Grandma, it's been a good year!
Fourth of July was full of Kodak moments.
The kids had a great time helping to decorate their scooters for the parade. Hyrum made his flag decoration all by himself at school.
Hazel celebrated with great gusto, as you can see.
Hazel's first boogie boarding attempt,
and flying a kite on the sand (yes, an open mouth helps concentration).
Awwww....
....First day of preschool....
...Halloween fun...
...and birthdays I don't think I ever even blogged about.
Hazelbug in action for Halloween,
the dreaded family photo session,
the leaf throwing party afterward,
and a much anticipated visit from Uncle John.
Another year older, another precious year with my sweet, rambunctious, high-spirited, energetic children. They are the light of my life and I love them dearly, despite my moments of exasperation with their behavior! :-) But then again, what mother doesn't feel that way once in awhile? I'm sure my kids could easily turn that around and say the same thing about me - I'm far from a perfect parent, but we love eachother anyway. I'm so thankful to have the opportunity to be their mother, and I hope I can live up to the title even more in the year to come.
What fabulous photos Shelley! And Hazel is such a little girl now--she's so grown up. I love catching up on your blog!

Thanks Jen! I know, isn't it amazing how big Hazel is getting?! I can hardly believe it myself. She's still a tiny, spunky squirt in my mind's eye...although in reality she's a giant spunky squirt :-)
Thanks for keeping in touch!
