I loved this idea and adapted it for "Christmas", but I used a red fabric with button pattern on it and I decorated it with black and red ribbons. I made mine longer than my table and the ends pointed with black buttons to accent. It was so fun to do and really cute. Plus, I can use it during other seasons. Thanks for the idea!

Hi! I love your table runner! I'm trying to attempt one myself but i am extremely new at sewing! I don't have a serger, and i'm wondering how I sew the border on without the raw edges fraying, etc..I can't figure out of i'm just missing step or what? Does that make sense?
