Pattern #2 is just around the corner!
My friend Angie was kind enough to pose for me on this endearingly muggy, typical-of-Virginia-in-August kind of day. The kind of weather we've been "blessed" with since June, but now the mosquitoes are providing an even greater excuse not to venture outside. Except when I'm taking photos of Angie holding my bags. Or pushing Hazel on the swing, but that's another story. I'll be in love with Virginia again in the Fall, I promise - just don't ask me about it in the summertime! I'm told this has been an atypically severe summer, so I'm not giving up hope yet.
Anyway, I finished editing the cover photos tonight and was going to put it all together, but I realized I left out instructions for the optional bow, among other little details here and there. Rats.
That will have to wait until tomorrow, because I've been staying up way too late way too many nights recently (or I have insomnia and can't sleep because my mind has been racing about all the different projects I'm juggling right now) so I must quit soon.
Before I do, I wanted to give you a sneak peek at what this next bag is all about = POCKETS. So many pockets you won't know what to do with them all. Or you'll have a great time figuring out the answer to that Mystery of All Mysteries.
Let's give a big round of applause to Angie for her remarkable ability to walk along the top of a retaining wall while wearing the cutest HIGH-heeled polka dot shoes I have ever seen. Our local group of friends here are all very covetous of Angie's shoes - they're so much fun. And I'm very impressed at how well she can walk in them - I never buy high heels because 1) I'm tall enough already and 2) Grace, balance, and poise have never been my best attributes. Actually that should probably be in the #1 position.
Oh - you were hoping to hear the Big News referred to in the last post? Wellllll, I'm not at liberty to do that yet. And no, I'm not pregnant. :-) Sorry to leave you in the lurch again, but I just can't spill the beans yet. 'Til next time, then...good night!
WOW. Like, I am picking my jaw up off the floor WOW. These bags are amazing, as is your sewing ability. AND, you are fulfilling a dream and I am incredibly happy for you!
