I love eating out too, but we almost never do (unless my father in law takes us out for birthdays or whatever) because why should I spend all that money when I can cook something just as good or better?
My one weak point is chinese food (luckily we don't have a great chinese restaurant around here) not because I can't cook good chinese food, but because to make as big of a meal as we can get eating out takes me a long time, so its almost worth it to just go and eat chinese. We only do that about once or twice a year though.

AMEN!!! Although I'm not the epitomy of a stepford wife I am a momma that sometimes gets the laundry done. My kids always have clean underwear! LOL. The dishes aren't always done but there are more important things to do like fish keys out of the toilet, stopping little ones from eating playdough. You know the important stuff. LOL. What ever we choose as women is ok. Wether we stay home or work. As long as our kids are happy, well rounded kids that's all that matters! The cake turned out fabulous!! How in the world did you make that rose. You will have to do a tutorial on that!

  • In short, I'm a wife, mother, artist, and creator of all sorts of things. I've categorized my creative endeavors into seven main areas, hence the 7 Layers; Textile/Pattern design, Sewing, Photography, Interior/Landscape design, Painting/Drawing, Monotypes/Printmaking, and Baking/Cake Decorating. There. I think that's 7(ish). You're welcome to use any of my ideas for personal use, but please do not copy and sell the things/ideas you see here without my permission. Thanks, and enjoy!
