Just checking in to let you know that some more fun photos are on the way; I'm trying to get the house and all the activities ready for Hyrum's big Dinosaur Dig birthday bash this Saturday morning. Lots and lots to do still...where did the week go?! So after the big day I'll post the fun things we are going to be doing (how's that for a confusing past/future tense sentence?)
In the meantime, I've been meaning to post a few of these amazing horse sculptures. My uncle sent an email with these included, he thought I'd appreciate them (he was right). Unfortunately I don't know who the artists are, I just know there are 2 ladies who work together to create these fantastically graceful horses out of driftwood. The gesture on these sculptures is so perfect, I can't imagine how long it must have taken to get just the right pieces together, and I have no idea how they join them together. At any rate, here they are...
update as of Oct 2008: Renee wrote to me with the artist's name and info - The sculptor is Heather Jansch, and she is an internationally known artist. Her website is http://www.jansch.freeserve.co.uk/index.htm. Thank you Renee, for letting me know!
Those are amazing!!! I have never seen anything like it.

It's been a while since you posted about these, but I thought you'd be interested in more of the sculptures! Here's a site with a link, some artist detail and more pictures too
