We have a disorder in our family. Whenever the smell of fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies wafts through the house, we all turn into monsters.
It's true. How else to explain how 4 people (Hazel is too young to be remotely monsterous. Besides she's not allowed to have chocolate yet) can polish off half a batch of cookies in a few hours?
Whenever I bake these I have to pile a bunch on a plate to give to somebody, or else we'd devour an entire batch of cookies all by ourselves. And this is after eating so much cookie dough I'm already queasy before the first pan comes out of the oven. No matter. A shot of milk and I'm ready for the real product. After all, I have to be sure what I'm serving to others is edible!
I'm also a firm believer in the premise that, if a cookie is broken and you only eat a little piece at a time, there are no calories in it. Never mind that the cookie plate is minus several cookies at the end of the day, if I eat them bit by bit it doesn't inflate my hips.
Cookies look Yummy.
Hope you have a great week.
Blessings,Karen

Yummy! Those are the best looking cookies. Now I have a craving for them so I am going to have to go make some. Too bad I'm not there still because I'd just steal some from you--cause everything you make tastes better than anything I could make!
