Okay, I admit it...I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed right now. I always have a bunch of huge things on my To Do List, but lately I've been feeling particularly burdened with a vast amount to do and not enough hours in the day. So, while waiting for my kids at the dentist's office, I decided to write some of it (not including my separate Business To Do List) down. That always makes a person feel better, doesn't it, to have things written down?
After page 3, I'm pretty sure that concept backfired.
The trouble is that, in addition to all the sewing and pattern projects I'm way behind on, I have an entire house to get ready for renters next summer, should we have to move. We don't find out until January if we stay or go, so I'll be holding my breath for awhile. Some things on my list are not essential, but the gutting of 2 bathrooms and the complete demolition of our basement are Musts, due to mold issues and fire hazards (bad wiring).
I probably should not have bought the double pack of Nutella at Costco yesterday (it was on sale, how could I resist?) but it sure is a great way to cope. Dang, that stuff is good! Hadn't tasted it for a couple of years, I'm now officially back to addict status.
...And I'm listening to my Christmas Playlist. In mid-October. Crazy, but it helps.
