Well, after not doing any printmaking for more than 5 years, it feels wonderful to get back at it a little bit again.
Not that I have any more time available now that that I have 3 children all under the age of 6, but I just can't stand NOT doing it any longer.
So, my house is a mess, the laundry is piled up on the dining room table because I never seem to get around to putting it all away, and I'm staying up way too late at night...but I'm happily using my beloved etching press that has been neglected and forlorn in our garage for years. I'm sure all you other like-minded creative creatures out there understand perfectly, and I'm equally sure that those of you who have not been bitten by the "must-create-or-die" bug are as baffled as my husband is when I stay up until 2 in the morning to work "just a little bit longer" on a project.
Anyway, here are a few pictures of a recent black and white series that I have been working on.
I can't seem to eliminate the bluish tint in these photos. I really need to buy photoshop and learn how to use it.
Actually, that's what all these prints are for. I'm trying to make a little money so I can afford to buy the Adobe CS3, plus a new computer that is powerful enough to handle the new programs, a "real" camera instead of my little point-n-shoot, etc etc so I can not only manipulate photos but get into the textile design world as well.

woah woah! i love LOVE your Monotypes. I especially love the black and white line through each print. We should do a print exchange.
Thanks for finding me!
